What we hold
- Your account: your name, your email, a scrambled form of your password (never the password itself), and when you signed in and from what kind of browser.
- What you put in a workspace: the music, releases, shows, people, money, files and notes you and your team add. It is yours. We store it so the workspace works; we do not read it, mine it or sell it.
- Early access registrations: your name, email and what you wrote, until we have decided and for a short while after.
- Emails we send: invitations and password links, through Resend, which keeps delivery records for a short time.
- Figures from Songstats, when a workspace connects an artist there: streams and listeners for that artist's music.
What we do not do
No advertising, no trackers, no analytics scripts. One cookie, which is your sign-in. Nothing in a workspace is public unless its owner makes a share link, and those run out when they say.
Why we may
To run the workspace you asked for (a contract with you); to keep the platform safe and let the right people in (our legitimate interests); and, for the early-access list, because you asked us to be in touch (your consent, which you can withdraw by writing to us).
Who sees it
The people on your workspace, as its owner decides, see what their role allows. Our hosting (Hetzner, in the EU) and email (Resend) providers process data on our behalf under their own agreements. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
How long
For as long as the account or workspace exists. Backups are kept for a limited time after. Ask and we delete your account, or a workspace you own, along with its data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, take it with you, or object to how it is used. Write to hello@97musicgroup.com. If you are not happy with how we answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom.
